Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Indefensible

Shocking – but not overly surprising stuff: earlier this month, a deputy assistant secretary of defense named Charles D. Stimson stated in a radio interview that lawyers who defend terrorism suspects being held at Guantanamo not only should not do so, but also that their firms ought to be blackballed. Amazingly, this man still has his job. In a word, YIKES…BS
