Uncertain consequences for those who trusted us

The frantic departure of American civilians and soldiers from Saigon in 1975 – leaving behind their Vietnamese allies who had endangered themselves and their families by working with us – still fills Greenway, who was there, with shame. The war in Iraq may end in a more controlled way, but there is currently no plan to insulate those who have worked with us – despite peril to their personal safety – from the eventual consequences of that collaboration…BS
