MUST READ: Terrorized by “War on Terror”
By Zbigniew Brzezinski | Sunday, March 25, 2007 | The Washington Post
Zbigniew Brzezinski, national security adviser to President Jimmy Carter, is the author most recently of “Second Chance: Three Presidents and the Crisis of American Superpower” (Basic Books). Here he argues that the three word mantra “War in Terror” has undermined American democracy, security and worldwide influence – to say nothing of our moral standing in the eyes of other nations.
“The ‘war on terror’ has had a pernicious impact on American democracy, on America’s psyche and on U.S. standing in the world.” In a word, WOW!…BS

I also want to very highly recommend a short piece (“The Uncontained War”) in the current issue of Harper’s which is a segment of Brzezinski’s remarks to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee this year. It is an extraordinary commentary from someone one would not normally associate with these types of ideas.
Peace.
