NYT: Court Rejects Strict Gun Law as Unconstitutional

Although I am no gun fan, I cannot help but agree with this interpretation. Without this, the potential tyranny of our own government against its own people could never be repelled. And given recent events – the evisceration of habeus corpus and posse comitatus, among other things – that potential tyranny is closer than it has ever been.
