While Bush seems nemt on splitting the country rather than give an inch on his disastrous Iraq policy, Congress has been busy assembling the votes needed ro alter the course of war. Dione reviews four of these proposals. In terms of practical political realities, this kind of bipartisan approach stands the best chance of actually altering our headlong rush into a Civil War between Sunnis and Shiites. Personally I like the one that forces the Baker-Hamilton recommendations to be followed, despite the fact that The Decider ignored it completely…BS
