Irreconcilable Positions: Support Troops, Oppose War
By Jeff Jacoby | Sunday, February 18, 2007 | The Boston Globe
Let me just say this first: I disagree with this article. Many of us in Hair truly believe it is possible to “Hate the War and Love the Soldier” – just like Tioga Joe said. That phrase has rung in my ears ever since I heard Tioga say it to me last year in Bridgeport. This piece is by a conservative Globe columnist, and it argues the opposite: that it is NOT possible to support the troops and oppose this war. Posted in the name of diversity, so that we can study the conservative point of view and argue back with knowledge when we confront this type of ignorant psychobabble…BS
