HEDWIG and the Angry Inch – dir. Anthony D’Amato

Well, last night Debbie, Mike, Chrissie and I went to see HEDWIG directed by a favorite director, Anthony D’Amato at the Baronet Theatre in Asbury Park, NJ. You will recall references to Anthony’s HAIR at Red Bank which was one of the best we have seen in a long time.
It was worth the trip, by car an easy hour and half, because Anthony has done it again and given us a super evening. Fun, great show very well acted by Bob Walker (Woof in HAIR) and Bre Cade (Chrissie in HAIR).
It was nice to hear the announcement by Mary Leight-McAvoy and Anthony (co producers) that the reception has been so good they are bringing it back for the summer starting in June. Go for it. Michael
