Hi Michael,

Today Iran is the de facto super power in the Middle East.  Hizbelloh does its’ dirty work in Lebanon, Hamas in Palestine and Moussa Sadr in Irag, leaving Iran with clean hands.  Iran with the help of the Russians and the Europeans is on her way to acquiring nuclear power, read ‘the bomb’.  So I don’t see why she would even consider to sit down with the US or any one for that matter.

Syria, is in the back pocket of Iran, so any deal with the US will have to have Iran’s approval.
