Facts are hard to find in what this article describes as ‘a nuclear-armed country deemed by many as the most dangerous place in the world’.
Posted on 20-Feb-08 at 3:45 am | PermalinkBut the fact that Musharef has not come out well from the Monday elections, suggests that the oppositions claim of vote rigging, were not substantial, also the fact that it is necessary for her son to succeed her says a lot about her party’s idea of democracy.
They all look like a lying bunch of opportunists to me, and I think that the West may well regret having placed Pevez Musharef on the back-burner through it’s rose-tinted view and promotion of ‘the democratic process’ in Pakistan.
