    T%he question must be whether Iran would be a freer, wealthier, more democratic country today if the Shah had not been deposed.
    It is in essence the same question that could be asked of the many ‘liberated’ countries of the world, and one which those presently seeking ‘democracy’ would be well advised to consider carefuly.
    ‘Liberation’ and ‘Democracy’ are labels behind which demons can hide.
