The Children of Fallujah – Robert Fisk
15% of the children of Fallujah are being born with apalling birth defects, almost certainly as a result of the phosophorus shells used by US forces during the two battles there. Add to this the estimated 500,000 Iraqi children born with serious defects and/or meeting early deaths as a result of the depleted uranium ordinance used by the allies during the first Gulf War – all that radioactive dust swirling around the country. If there is anything to the laws of Karma then I fear that the US and to some extent the UK are in for a serious comeuppance.
