Ray McGovern: Bush in His Own Words – US Intelligence Thwarted Attack on Iran

McGovern has read the new Bush Book and gives a fascinating villain vs hero analysis (w some of his friends at CIA as background sources I’m sure) of the push to go to war with Iran in 2007 when the NIE declared that Iran had stopped working on a nuclear weapon four years earlier. The villains are obvious (Bush/Cheney/Israel/neocons..) – one villain, current DNI director and former Air Force Gen. James Clapper, is still around. The heroes were Joint Chiefs Chairman Mike Mullen and then-CENTCOM commander Adm.
