Afghanistan’s corruption poses dilemma for US military

“…In recent months, American military and civilian leaders in Afghanistan have clearly devoted more attention, both in rhetoric and behind the scenes, to tackling corruption. A Major Crimes Task Force, made up of Afghan intelligence officers backed by the FBI and British law enforcement officials, now investigates allegations of government corruption. In September, McChrystal instructed his troops to start collecting intelligence on government corruption and assembling lists of the most serious offenders, according to officials familiar with the order…..”….BS
