Democracy Now: Norman Finkelstein and Martin Indyk on Gaza War

This is a pretty weird exchange .. Indyk, ambassador to Israel under the Clintons, didn’t know that Israel critic (and Alan Derschowitz nemesis) Finkelstein was going to be on the show with him and is very indignant (and pompous) over the fact that he actually has to respond to questions of his version of history. For me, when you move past the personal frustration about the unwillingness to engage in debate, because Indyk pretty much represents the “moderate” US government position you get a real window on the scope of the impasse on this issue – mab
