“Religious dominated attitudes?” Methinks you are deliberately attacking “religion” where you need not.
What you are really talking about is “morality,” not “religion.” Yes, the latter has much to say on the former. Yet even the article notes that it is “the press” that has become the “arbiter of personal morality.” And it does not suggest that the press is run by religious-dominated types.
Certainly SOME aspects of religion (and particularly those who claim a leadership mantle) are to be criticized, even severely. However, there is no need to take pot shots at religion just for the sake of doing so.
