    It is actually quite simple. As long as “organized, mainstream, hierarchical” religion remains doctrinaire and dogmatic – rather than actually teaching, preaching and living what Jesus actually did, said and taught – it will continue to lose members, and its “program” will fail to attract or influence potential new members. This is why so many (arguably the majority) of those who have left mainstream churches have joined smaller, “community” and “home” churches that actually focus on Jesus and his example, without judgment or preconditions.
