The author is correct about the short comings of the human race. It’s been one “Syria” after another since the beginning of history.
It’s time we admit, we are flawed beings. We are continually engaged in fixing the symptoms rather than the cause.
It’ our DNA. We need to overhaul the operating system. We have been passing on the same lousy code century after century. Anyone could put a list of the major faults: violence, lying, lust, addiction, greed, etc.
We think we’re intelligent, of course. But compare to an idiot savant that is a music or a mathematics genius. I doubt the best of us are at 10% of potential.
Currently we are cooking our own goose. It’s not likely that is going to change until the basic human gets a clue. Time to do some “upgrades”.
