Uh…excuse me? An article by a member of the John Birch Society is being touted as somehow “authoritative” enough to make the claims it does about something as critically important as climate science? PLEASE!
Did ANYONE – either his own editors or, as importantly, yourself (who posted the article) do ANY fact-checking to see whether the claims he makes are supportable? The question is rhetorical.
Citing someone like Jaspar as an expert on climate science – or even an expert on WRITING ABOUT climate science – is akin to citing Ann Coulter on Einstein’s theories or Rush Limbaugh on what it’s like to be a progressive.
I expect better from Civic.
