    I remember the night Kennedy went on TV to tell us we were at the brink of nuclear war.
    I remember turning to my father and saying” Well, Dad, I guess I don’t get a chance to grow up.”
    How we ever survived that insanity-the adolesence of nuclear weapons is beyond me. Now, the question is, will our grandchildren ever get to grow up, and if they do, what awaits them?
