Over the weekend, Barack Obama made his administration virtually indistinguishable from that of George Bush when he fired PJ Crowley for speaking the truth about the conditions of Bradley Manning’s detention. There will be a rally of Manning supporters at the State Department today to protest the treatment of Manning and the firing of Crowley, and a march to the White House .. With his firing of Crowley, Obama makes a mockery of his own claim to be a constitutional scholar who supports transparency in government
