Think Progress: Chamber of Commerce’s Lobbyists Solicited Firm To Investigate Opponents’ Families, Children
in addition to the Bank of America plot to target Wikileaks supporters like Glenn Greewald, there’s this Chamber of Commerce plot that stars the same cast of private security firms (Aaron Barr/HB Gary etc) ..
According to e-mails obtained by [hacktivist group Anonymous], the Chamber hired the lobbying firm Hunton and Williams [who] solicited a set of private security firms — HBGary Federal, Palantir, and Berico Technologies (collectively called Team Themis) — to develop a sabotage campaign against progressive groups and labor unions, including ThinkProgress, the labor coalition Change to Win, SEIU, US Chamber Watch, and StopTheChamber.com.
