I would like to think that I understand Condorcet voting or Range voting better than I did before reading this article – which actually is a book review – but I don’t.
There is more than maths involved in this issue, it is the actual process of election of the Presidential candidates which needs consideration. This going from State to State and the order in which this proceeds is obviously a system prone to manipulation and the staging of ‘events’.
The whole subject needs much creative discussion, and not just about maths.
