This is something really seen on this blog, or anywhere else for that matter. An article which makes a very concrete suggestion.
Posted on 11-Mar-08 at 2:26 am | PermalinkAt the heart of it, there is one very unconcrete statement: ‘Everyone would pay for the plan, based on their ability to pay.’ Now just how do you intend to figure that one out? A means test of some kind? I have seen people lose their homes and their dignity, thanks to schemes based upon ‘the ability to pay’. This is the road to total State and Federal Control. Beware!
Sorry that should have read ‘This is something rarely seen……
