On the face of it, this seems a justifiable beef. Why then compare construction permits issued to the Palastinians to homes built for the Israelis?
Posted on 22-Feb-08 at 1:46 am | PermalinkThe likelyhood is that a construction permit could be for a number of dwellings, and the commparison would not be so glaring if the number of homes built were the stastistics used in both cases.
On the other hand, a construction permit could just be for an extension to an existing property.
Either way you look at it, they are not comparing like for like, which is not clever – or is it both clever and disingenuous?
