This whole question of waterboarding and torture, ‘faustian bargin’ that McCain has struck is being responded to unsatisfactorily.
Posted on 22-Feb-08 at 1:33 am | Permalink1. Why did Hillary and Barack both abstain on the issue?
2. What, apart from waterboarding does the Bill specifically allow, or if you like what treatment does it forbid?
How there can so much print without specifics, and how everyone can convince themselves that they are discussing the issue, when they have not been told what it is that they are discussing is a symptom of these times we live in.
Too much hyperbole and not enough hard copy.
