    Would the Chairman of The Fed be responsible for mortgage regulation? Isn’t this something that would be dealt with at State level?
    The lack of mortgage regulation is the cause of the problem, but is The Fed responsible for this legistlation?
    It seems unlikely (in which case the article is is full of hot air) but I don’t know.
