An unlivable minimum

The recent CNN-YouTube debate posed a fascinating question: would any of the candidates agree to serve as President if they were paid only the national minimum wage? Their answers, and a few simple calculations, reveal that despite recent legislation to raise the minimum wage, those doomed to earn it are actually living in grinding poverty, and no one in our prosperous, ‘advanced’ nation should have to live like that…BS
