War crimes and the White House

A retired Marine General and a former White House legal counsel – both of them prior Reagan administration appointees – express utter outrage at the use of torture by Cheney, Bush et al. They argue that violating the Geneva Conventions stains our national honor; has potentially disastrous effects on the fates of US military personnel who are captured; and has seriously compromised our government’s credibility abroad and at home…BS
