Takeover by Hamas illustrates the failure of Bush’s Mideast vision

The recent takeover of the Gaza Strip by Hamas marks the end of the two-state vision for peace between Israel and Palestine. It shows dramatically that the more Bush and his cronies try to influence the Palestinians, the more the Palestinians hunker down into an increasingly radical position.
