Congressman Pete Stark (Democrat from California), age 75, made history recently when he admitted that he did not believe in any sort of supreme being. Mitt Romney’s father, George, never mentioned his religion, or the fact that his grandfather had five wives. In Mitt Romney’s time, religion has migrated into the spotlight, upending the priorities of politics.
