‘It is Just Not Walter Reed’

The disgraceful conditions in America’s VA hospitals is front page news at The Washington Post. Having personally worked for many months in similar places during my internship and residency, I can say this confidently: these horror stories are not exaggerated. It really is this bad, and to paraphrase the author, the problems are not just at Walter Reed, but everywhere in the world of VA medicine…BS
