NYT Op-Ed (Brooks): Investing in Human Futures

Brooks posits that “wage stagnation is mainly about education and skills,” and provides a five-point plan for changing this, including: (i) strengthening the “family”; (ii) strengthening marriage; (iii) encouraging people to think about the future; (iv) providing quality preschool for children from “disorganized” homes; and (v) tailoring schools to the way children actually are [N.B. which would be a great idea in and of itself].
