What the West fails to realize is that this is a country that has been for generations a region of conflict.

Sadam (put in by the US, Rumsfeld), was like Tito, a strongman and put a lid on it for awhile.
Now all hell has broken loose, as it did in the Balkans after Tito died.
Whether it be external, internal, moves and plays are being made by various warlords/agents/insurgents/who ever and for what ever reasons.
American intelligence failed to realise the powder keg of issues that had been stewing for 20 odd years under Sadam, and the 1000 odd years under whom ever. The tensions between Iraq - Iran etc are cultural territorial, and when America went in there after WWII to secure Oil opportunities they started screwing around with local politics......With the fall of the Shah of Iran, America's knee jerk reaction was to support/create a relationship in Iraq to stop Iranian moves into Western Persia. Opps didn't work, Sadam (Rumsfeld's man) developed other ideas. i.e. reuniting the 13 provinces that had been taken away by the British and German colonization etc before and after WWII. (Kuwait was originally part of Iraq, some what like Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao are part of China)

So my question is, how many conflicts around the world has America "created" though/under the guise of national and/or corporate interest.

America is not the only participant in these agendas, Russia is/was/is , Britain, France, China, Germany, Japan etc.. are/were/are, still are .......

Point being, America has always said it was/is the just, but at whose expense ?

Corporate/Political America basically rapes the planet these days, not a happy picture. So where is the precedent of conduct?

Problem, is that globalization, corporate merger mania, international banking, whatever fails to realize the impact on regional culture/communities.

Look at what American consumerism has created in China, sweatshops, slave labour, which companies like Nike will deny.
Not to sound naive, but why can't companies Nike manufacture in America $$, employ Americans, opps forgot, profit opportunities..
But if Americans are not employed how can they consume?

Back to Iraq, America is in over it's head, this is a generational cultural issue that they have taken the lid off of, it is only going to get nastier!

And because there is also great wealth at stake (Oil), it is a SNAFU again.

Instead of trying to control the oil, just buy it!

Later H, defiantly got into a rant tonight, sorry!
