This book by John J. Mearsheimer and Stephen M. Wait is the seminal book on the critical subject of American and Israel relations. It has come under continued attack by the organs of the political neo-cons and the religious far right. These negative reviews have been very unfair. The approach of authors could not be more level headed. They have done a very compete job of explaining the background of both sides of the issues facing both America and Israel. Further, more than most books on the subject, this one lays out clear suggestions for a solution to the problems facing both our countries, namely the Palestinian question.
