70% of doctor’s in California, last January were not participating!! Who is going to provide care for all these newly insured in California?

This is a revealing article that truly illustrates what is happening with the FDA’s handling of drug approvals, and how it is damaging medical practice and it’s patient’s.
The FDA judges it’s own performance. The criteria is how fast they approve drugs. Their funding is based on speed of approvals, not expected efficacy of products. wow.
As healthy products like fish oil get modified/altered to be patented and approved, functionality is lost in many cases. Think about what this lack of proof of efficacy would mean to the citizenry, as it evolves over time, with multiple products in multiple disease states. Would any drug therapy really be working properly?
