$561bn Pentagon budget planned, advocates say real budget is $1trn

It is unfathomable to me that anyone could say we have had “mindless austerity” when it comes to government spending. Mindless wastage could be more appropriate in many areas.
Now we need to raise taxes again for the non stop, never ending, war machine, with a distraction of paying for 2 years of college for those that happen to qualify.
Perhaps they should give college student the ability to do insider trading to allow them to come up with some extra money, it’s sure working for our politicians.
This creative accounting is also how we get from 500 billion to the real number of 1 trillion as well.

Why some nations prosper while others sink – Brasscheck

Income inequality: It seems
to be the issue of our time.

The distribution of wealth
among nations is grossly
unequal, and it leads to all
power and influence being in
a small group’s hands.

Why is it, exactly, that some
nations soar while others
sink?

Pentagon: China’s Weapons Development Has Undermined US Superiority

It was just around a year ago the Chinese Military were in Washington, and said we were more advanced, and all the talk was with puffed out chests on our leaders part.
At the time anyone who understands China should have been suspect. Rule #1 be underestimated, right?
Now just a short time later we are undermined, have readiness problems, and have to gear up at $95 million a day for 10 years. China and Russia have outplayed us they say.
Who and what to believe?
Also why are we starting cold wars all over the planet if we can not win, even with help from NATO, as has been predicted in the Ukraine already.
Could it be time to invest in America, instead of war? Being a trade partner increases our value in both directions without killing.

U.S. Set to Spend $95 Million a Day for 10 Years to Update Nuclear Arsenal

Think of what a fraction of this money could do for the poor. Spending $665 million every week just to update weapons!
America must be rolling in dough! We only thought we were bankrupt.
We must remember the corporations need to be protected.
