where’s evidence that she might have been a prostitute?

That and other revelations came out of the lies she told to the grand jury, and statements she herself made in phone calls after the incident.

haha! can’t wait for the dirty trick connections to Sarkozy to come out 🙂 wonder what dsk did to piss off the powers that be at the imf et al

I’m not sure if your tongue is in your cheek or not. Even if it turns out that the maid is a liar and a prostitute, that does not necessarily mean that she was “put up to it” for nefarious or sinister purposes by “powers that be.” It could well have been sheer coincidence that she targeted DSK based on his “bankbook.” LOL. Of course, that does not rule OUT nefarious and sinister purposes…LOLOL. As a related aside, you know that Lagarde was named the new head of the IMF. Are you aware of her role in the global economic meltdown, including AIG?

No! what did she do w AIG?

here’s an interesting post about dsk at Firedoglake w/ comments speculating about Sarkozy/IMF

i predict this story is just getting started

one credible scenario posited on the FDL comment thread is that certain nefarious individuals used her false asylum statements as leverage for her cooperation – i.e. press charges against dsk or else we deport you for lying on your asylum claim

on last thing .. in the comments from the link posted above Emptywheel (i.e. the talented and very thorough blogger Marcy Wheeler) at FDL points out that DSK was going to be easier on Greece and Ireland, and that since his ouster in May the conservatives/banksters got what they wanted on Greece (basically a fire sale) and expect to get what they want in Ireland
