James Alan Fox is a Professor of Criminal Justice at Northeastern University, and co-author of “Extreme Killing”. He urges the media not to concentrate on “murder trivia”, like whether this is the most awful mass murder in a century. Instead, he urges us to look at the most extreme examples of recent mass murders for ways to improve public safety – in particular, the unrestricted access most US citizens have to high-powered weapons…BS
