A carbon tax, implemented at first in a few countries WITHOUT help from the “US world leadership” as practiced by Accursed Bushies, would almost immediately lead to a rash of innovations to reduce emissions and generate enough money to pay for itself and other programs, like the underfunded Social Security system. It would be a stunningly simple solution to the problem and a real opportunity for a US President (no doubt not this one) to do something truly patriotic and historically significant…BS
