Re the L.I. Indian tribe that won the right to open a casino, I want to pose a (possibly rhetorical) question: Since ALL of the U.S. was previously Indian land, and since various tribes continue to make similar (supportable) claims, doesn’t this mean that there is no place in the U.S. where casinos would NOT be allowed? And if so, can you imagine the consequences?
