Where Your Money Goes
In 2009, 33% on the dollar of your income taxes went to funding current and past wars while only 1% went to diplomacy, development, and preventing wars. If these spending priorities are out of line with your values and do not represent how you would like to see the federal government spending your taxes, tell your senators and representatives today. Ask them to spend that money differently in 2010.
