Well…while I certainly agree with this, there is an even better way to deal with credit card companies: don’t use credit cards.
I have not owned a credit card for over five years. I pay all my bills with money orders. I use cash when I want to buy something. I simply don’t give the credit card companies ANY money whatsoever. And I have lived a perfectly good, unencumbered lifestyle for the past five years.
So I say: if there is to be a true revolt, people must give up credit cards entirely. Yes, it is difficult – for some people, VERY difficult. But it is possible. It is do-able. I did it. So can you.
