A very interesting article by a ‘dyed-in-the -wool’ oil man who speaks Arabic and Farsi.
Posted on 25-Mar-08 at 3:07 am | PermalinkEven he can’t see how oil demand can be met by 2015, and he also says about cars, “We should certainly increase hybrid ownership, but I believe that hydrogen fuel cells are the breakthrough technology we need.”
I have had the same thought, but keep being told that it is too energy consuming a process and too uneconomical. Not once has this been backed up by actual figures, and my suspicion is that it is a matter of scale.
In other words we must go for it, big time, to make it work for us.
