A very interesting article by a ‘dyed-in-the -wool’ oil man who speaks Arabic and Farsi.
Even he can’t see how oil demand can be met by 2015, and he also says about cars, “We should certainly increase hybrid ownership, but I believe that hydrogen fuel cells are the breakthrough technology we need.”
I have had the same thought, but keep being told that it is too energy consuming a process and too uneconomical. Not once has this been backed up by actual figures, and my suspicion is that it is a matter of scale.
In other words we must go for it, big time, to make it work for us.
