Well…yes: an inevitable candidate can become “evitable.” But then, tides can turn at any moment, and that same candidate can find himself (or herself) inevitable once again.
Although I really like Warren, she simply doesn’t have the experience or “gravitas” that Hillary does. Setting aside “dynasty” and “money,” Hillary has been a Senator (and thus knows how to “work” the Congress) and a Secretary of State (and thus has WAY more foreign policy and foreign affairs experience). And as First Lady, Senator, and SOS, she has come to know – and have good relationships with – almost every major world leader, something that can only be created over time, which Warren has not had, nor will have by 2016.
I supported Hillary the first time around (against Obama), and I would do so again, despite her alleged “baggage,” and talk of “dynasties.” (We should keep in mind that, historically, at least SOME dynasties were actually good.) And I would certainly support Warren – at the point at which she had far more experience in all the areas in which she is “weaker,” and had developed the type of gravitas that is required in a president.
