    Uh…to be fair, it is not the NYT that “thinks environmentalists are over-stating the dangers of fracking.” It is the two writers of an Op-Ed piece, neither of whom writes for the NYT. And the NYT has always offered “opposition” views on major issues. However, on balance, all of the regular Op-Ed columnists (except one) are against fracking, and the majority of published articles, particularly over the past year or so, have been critical of fracking.
