    This is fine as long as the US tax payers are prepared to subsidize American jobs/materials. They should at least be asked. On the other hand the US could run foul of the WTO if they discriminate against bidders at public tenders on grounds of nationality. It is not as simple as it sounds.

    Both points valid and interesting. Another globalization problem due to our not handling the transition properly.
