    Re NYC voting, I can personally attest to the truth of the editorial. However, it misses another point: the very concept of the “secret ballot” has been all but trashed, since (i) the booths where you fill out the ballots are not even as private as the old cardboard boxes they used, and (ii) one filled out, an election worker helps you feed the ballot into the scanner – and can easily see your vote.
