I know the NYT is not usually on my beat, but as a physician, this piece is exceptionally interesting and beautifully written. It has not been posted here previously.

But just as clearly, these problems in neurobiology can respond to what have traditionally been considered ‘non-biological’ treatments, like psychotherapy.
