The Texas Board of Education re-writes history to favor (Southern) conservative thought; a North Carolina congressman proposes to replace Ulysses Grant with Ronald Reagan on the $50 bill; the governor of Virginia declares a Confederate History Month; and at least two governors (of Southern States) flirt with secessionist rhetoric.
The “sore losers” of the Civil War are coming out of the woodwork. This would be absolutely hysterical if it didn’t have such serious potential ramifications…
